MAIERHOFFER, KARL JOHN Karl passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the age of 83 years, loved by many. He is predeceased by his parents, Karl and Barbara; sisters, Rose, Joee, Marie, Helen, Agnes, Anne, Polly, and Erna; brothers, Lee, Fernie, Emil, Wilf, and his son, Gregory. Karl is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Delores; children and grandchildren: Mona Maierhoffer; Tom (Rose), Janell (Chris), Carla (Tony), Melanie, Greg, and Jon Maierhoffer; Barry (Karen), Jenna and Julia Maierhoffer; Pam (Nick), Amber, Rory, and Autumn Gayton; and Joe (Shelly), Nicole, Chris, and Jordan Maierhoffer; sisters, Hilda and Clara; and numerous relatives and friends. Grandpa lived for family functions, especially family camping trips and antique car tours. His sense of humour could brighten anyone's day and his kind and caring personality will never be forgotten. A special thanks to all of the nurses and doctors for taking such great care of Grandpa. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Grandpa's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Holy Cross Parish, 315 Douglas Ave East with Fr. Norm Marcotte presiding.
